___________________________________ Today, the site “The Borbons – A journey in
the Historic Past” is enriched with a series of interviews with key people
in Italy’s cultural and civil circles.
President, Region Campania is the main promoter of the event “The Borbons”. The re-discovery of a historic record in the South of Italy seems to overcome the political barriers… “The support of the Region is motivated by the breath of life this Event gives to the culture, not only of Campania, but of all other Southern regions. The period in question has undoubtly marked the life of the whole South, apart from any kind of judgment. This Event will help to shed light upon an important part of our history. What do you think will be the repercussions, in terms of tourism, culture and the landscape of Campania and the other places involved in the Event? “We mustn’t forget that “The Borbons – A journey in the Historic Past” involves a great number of places, about 80 in all Naples, Campania and the South of Italy. This is a particularly important “additional occasion-to-visit” our Regions, apart the already expected “Jubilee effect”. It underlines and highlights the validity of such an event. That is why the Local Authorities, fired with enthusiasm and interest, are proposing historic-artistic displays pertaining to the subject of the Event.” So, a great cultural-turistic show. But the experts involved, the historians, can be sure about the historical accuracy of the Event? “ It clearly is an exhibition of great scientific
value, which is underlined by the commitment of the Superintendences, the
Cultural Institutes, the Researcher Centres, which witness the collaboration
between the Institutions which goes beyond the Jubilee in the interest
of Campania and the whole South.
